The selection process for “projects” begins with ideas from students and faculty, or requests are received by “the Department” from the community at large.  These requests are researched by the Community Services Committee and selection is achieved by ASID Student Board vote.  Selections are based on need (i.e., profit based organization/company vs. non-profit) impact on the community, scope of work, and Canada’s ability to deliver services in an effective and professional manner.
